Whympr is an easy-to-use and ergonomic application with several thousand routes to manage our mountain trips.

Ergonomic, 5 buttons provide access to:

  • list recent outings
  • display an IGN (or 3D) map with culmen, passes, cliffs …
  • add a new output
  • look for a route / summit
  • manage your profile

Really interesting, the ability to manage his wishes list.

Resolutely connected, it is possible to :

  • follow his friends and share on Facebook
  • receive route notification about something new
  • like friend’s output

The Premium version offers additional filters and allows offline access, which is really useful when you want to change plans in the mountains where the network is often weak.

For my part, I find this application very effective to search for a new route as well by the list with the map. The wishlist and the novelty notification are very interesting features. In close connection with CamptoCamp, it is easy to switch from one to another when viewing a route.
